  •  Alabama Secretary of State John H. Merrill, Chair

  • Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett, Vice Chair

  • Kentucky Secretary of State Michael G. Adams, Finance Chair

  • Florida Secretary of State Laurel Lee, Member at Large

  •  Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen, Member at Large

  • Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, Member at Large

  • West Virginia Secretary of State Mac Warner, Engagement Co-Chair

  • Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman, Engagement Co-Chair

“Together, we will continue to identify best practices related to protecting the security of the elections process and encourage our respective state legislatures to adopt bills aimed at making it easier to vote and harder to cheat,” said Alabama Secretary of State and RSSC Chairman John H. Merrill, who was just elected to a second, unprecedented term as Chair. “Based on their successful experiences in administering the 2020 Election Cycle, this group of leaders has proven they are qualified to restore confidence in our elections and increase the integrity of the process.”

Members of the RSSC have been working alongside their state legislatures in recent weeks to promote voter-centric reforms that will strengthen the electoral process. In addition, the group has focused on promoting legislation that leaves states with the freedom and flexibility to administer their own elections, without federal overreach or interference.
