Browse Tips for Corporations Listings

  1. Unless otherwise noted, each inquiry option lets you browse an alphabetical listing of records in the Corporations databases. Where you begin your browsing in the list depends upon the words, names, or characters you enter into the inquiry form.

  2. You may get better results by typing in as little information as possible. Shorter browse terms will pull up more filings. For example, if you are searching for a corporation whose name begins with "John Smith", you might try just John Smith or John S.

  3. A corporation's legal name must be spelled correctly. Omit periods and commas.

  4. Do not include the word "THE" if it comes at the beginning of a name.
