Pursuant to the preliminary injunction issued by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama in United States v. State of Alabama, et al., Civil Action No. 2:12cv179 – MHT, Secretary Chapman announces that the deadline for receiving and counting UOCAVA ballots in the March 13, 2012 primary election has been extended to March 31, 2012. Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act
Pursuant to Section 9 of the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act, the Secretary of State has promulgated rules to provide an acceptable form for affidavits for business entities, employers, contractors, and subcontractors.
